Jerry and Darra Rightmer.

Now I know why I should label all my pictures with dates; I'm not good at remembering months and years.

I do know I was in CA on business and Dad was working that day on an AOL commercial; at the end of our work day we met for dinner to eat one of our favorite types of food...MEXICAN food - yum! I wish I could remember the name of the restaurant it was one of his favorites and the food was great.

May - 2007
I Just found out Jerry passed with Hep C and liver failure. I wished I would have known his condition. I knew Jerry and Larry from Azle for over 30 years. Jerry and I both played base guitar and he taught me a lot. He was a gifted musician even in his early years with bands such as WHO CARES...SANCTUARY...etc...I moved to Los Angeles in the 70's and 80's and saw Jerry now and then when he wasn't touring. I am now back in Texas.

I understand what Jerry went through, because I too have Hep C and I am on the liver transplant list here in Texas. In my research I discovered a research and development company who leads in Glycobiology...Glycoscience and nutrition that has aided in my ongoing recovery from end stage cirrhosis. I was 4th on the transplant list with a MELD SCORE of 19. Now my score is 11 and my quality of life has totally turned around. Jerry we all will remember you your soft personality and the contributions that you made... and will see you one day.
